It was a fun photo shoot with Julia. She is so lovely and creative with a gift for capturing that “special moment”.
The whole experience was very relaxed and we all loved the results.

Julia was fantastic with myself and my 2 boys throughout our photo session. They were totally at ease and happy to have fun with her. In the final frames we received she had managed to capture the real them. Both sets of grandparents see lots of family photos but I’m pleased to say that Julia’s prints are in the middle of the mantle!

My husband and I had Julia take photos of us while I was 8 months pregnant with our first baby. It was a lovely session and the photos turned out super cute! She listened to what we wanted but also came prepared with some good ideas. We are so glad we got her to take our photos!

We spent a couple of very pleasant hours in Trent Park for our shoot and Julia was friendly and got on really well with our children even bringing along a bubble machine for their entertainment (and making some excellent photos at the same time!). It was a lovely, relaxed shoot. We got a mix of portraits and individual pictures of the children and Julia has produced some of my most favourite photos I have of us. Such a lovely experience and we received some of the photos a couple of days after the shoot and the full set a week after, super quick!

Julia specialises in lifestyle and portrait photography and I love that she takes her photos outside of a studio – at your home, running around a park or at a family event. We had one of Julia’s Mini Shoots, taken at Forty Hall. We laid out a rug, got a couple of toys out for the girls and chatted, tickled, cuddled, answered a thousand questions from Seren and stopped Imogen running off and eating grass a hundred times. Just like a regular family afternoon park visit, with Julia snapping away in the background. The whole thing was relaxed and the smiles came naturally. Julia is calm and has a lovely way with children, being happy to chat to Seren and put up with Imogen grabbing at her camera, whilst she took the photos. She let me have a sneaky peak of a couple of photos on her camera right away, a couple more edited versions the next day then the whole set two days later. We love the photos!
